Aluminium 2007 Flat Bar is a high-strength aluminium alloy primarily alloyed with copper, known for its excellent machinability, good mechanical strength, and reliable performance in precision applications. It is widely used in applications where high strength and superior machining characteristics are essential. This alloy offers good corrosion resistance and excellent response to machining operations, making it suitable for use in automotive components, precision engineering parts, electrical fittings, fasteners, and industrial machinery. Aluminium 2007 Flat Bar is available in a wide range of sizes and thicknesses and can be supplied in custom lengths as per specific requirements. It provides excellent machinability, allowing it to be easily drilled, turned, milled, and shaped with high dimensional accuracy. Although its corrosion resistance is lower compared to pure aluminium alloys, it can be improved through surface treatments such as anodizing.
